19 Objective of the Course: Comprehending the period from the Prophet until the classification of narrations in view of history of hadith and introducing the students basic hadith sources and teaching the hadith methodology.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The ability to know the location of hadith in religion and compare the relation between hadith and Qoran.;
2 Comprehending the rising of hadith, and interpret the hadiths in according thih period.;
3 Understanding the effect of narration promlems on reliability of hadiths. ;
4 Analyizing the reliability of hadiths in hadith collections;
5 The ability to distinguish the reliable and fbricated haditihs.;
6 Understanding the location of hadiths in other academic areas and comprehending the reliability of hadits that used in these areas.;
7 To be aware of the classification of hadiths in according to it’s chains and matn. ;
8 Analyizing the location of hadiths in religion.;
9 The ability to know the classical hadith methodology sources.;
10 Analyizing the contemporary methods about reliability of hadith in academic way.;

1 The source and rising of hadith.
2 The first ring of chain Sahaba.
3 The reasons that improve the hadith
4 Fabricated narrations.
5 Ilmu’l-carh and tadîl.
6 The debates on reliability of hadiths.
7 Golden age of hadith: Kutubi Sitte period.
8 Classification of hadiths in according to reliability.
9 Classification of hadiths in according to reliability.
10 Classification of hadiths in according to sanad..
11 Musned, muttasıl, musalsal, mu‘an‘an and mu’en’en hadiths.
12 Mursel, munkatı‘, mu‘dal, mudelles hadiths.
13 The hadiths that support together. (Mutâbi and shâhid)
14 The common phrase in sanad and matn of hadith.
