19 Objective of the Course: This course is a complementary course of TRH 1011 given first semester. The main purpose of this course is to help studens to read documents written in Ottoman Turkish

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to read the Ottoman historical texts.;
2 To comprehend the importance of the historical documents.;
3 To learn the words and phrases used in historical documents;
4 To know the important texts for the Ottoman studies.;
5 To analyze Ottoman documents rooting to history;
6 To learn historical calendars and their translation;
7 To improve the capability of the identification the meanings of the Arabic and the Persian words.;
8 To gain the ability to explain the meaning of the historical texts.;
