19 Objective of the Course: The program teaches the meaning and necessity of the constitutional jurisdiction. It also instructs how this system works in several countries as well as in Turkey.

1 The grounds of the presence of the constitutional review are understood.;
2 The participants learn what the conditions of the presence of the constitutional review are and how the constitutional review system has born and grown.;
3 They conceive the structures of constitutional courts.;
4 They learn the types of constitutional review.;
5 They understand the types of the review of constituonality.;
6 They understand the ways of the review of constituonality.;
7 They learn the duties and authorizations of constitutional courts.;
8 They recognize the norms and acts which are or are not subject to the constitutional review.;
9 They learn the types and outcomes of the rulings of the constitutional court.;

2 The structures of the constitutional courts, assignment and the selection of its members
3 The models of constitutional review: American and European models
4 The types of reviewing constitutionality: A Priori and A Posteriori Review
5 The ways of reviewing constitutionality: Annulment action
6 The ways of reviewing constitutionality: Concrete review of laws
7 The ways of reviewing constitutionality: Constitutional complaint
8 The norms and acts which are subject to the constitutional review
9 The duties and authorizations of the constitutional courts.
10 The reference norms in constitutional review
11 The scope of constitutional review: Review of form and review of substance
12 The judicial procedures of the constitutional courts
13 Types of the rulings of the constitutional courts
14 Consequences of the rulings of the constitutional courts
