19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course is to provide comprehensive information about the Turkish political life between 1923 to 1960. The scope of the course is limited to the period between 1923-1960 and examines developments in Turkish political life throughout the course of modernization project, in terms of internal and external developments.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To comprehend importance the course of Turkish Republic History I to person’s conformity to society as a citizen;
2 To comprehend teaching strategies, methods and techniques that apply primary school within Turkish Republic History I;
3 To comprehend political differences between the single-party period and multi-party period in Turkey;
4 Learn the events that happened since the founding of the Republic of Turkey and understand today’s Turkey;
5 To comprehend developmental process of democracy in Turkey;
6 To comprehend internal and external events that has occured in the process of democracy in Turkey and their effects on our country;
