19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to evaluate the poetry samples of distinguished artists of divan literature and to introduce the artistic understanding of divan poets to Turkish teacher candidates.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development This course enables students to recognise the texts of divan poetry and to comprehend and interpret their features.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learns the changes and developments of Divan literature over the centuries.;
2 14-19. comprehend the leading figures of divan literature who grew up between the centuries and the characteristics of their art.;
3 Learns the political and social elements reflected in the verses of Divan poets.;
4 Compare the literary styles that emerged in Divan poetry with the style of classical Turkish literature and distinguish the differences.;
5 Recognises the important representatives of the literary styles that emerged in Divan poetry and interprets and compares the poems of artists with different styles.;
6 Establishes the relationship between literary personality and era.;
7 Establishes the relationship between the work and the artist.;
8 14-19. makes literary text analyses on the poems of divan poets who grew up between the centuries.;
9 Interpret the divan poetry texts written between 14-19th centuries within the framework of divan poetry tradition.;
10 Gains knowledge and skills specific to the analysis and interpretation of Divan poetry texts.;
