19 Objective of the Course: After the scientific developments in the field of geography in the Turks are discussed chronologically, the stages of development of modern geography in the last century will be discussed in detail.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development He develops a sense of adopting his profession by learning about the background of his profession and the contributions of his previous colleagues to science.

1 He knows that science is a work of accumulation, that our current understanding is based on past accumulations;
2 He explains that geography research in Turkey presents different characteristics in different periods;
