19 Objective of the Course: Teaching of the monumental paintings of Late Roman and Early Byzantine period
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Getting knowledge of the main literature about Byzantine Architecture in Turkey and having interrogative perspective are so important for working on a special scientific area. Also, theoretical, methodological and factual knowledge need to be learned for further projects and being a researcher.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To learn about the origin of the monumental paintings of Early Byzantine Art ;
2 To have knowledge about the monumental paintings of Byzantine Art;
3 To know the buildings with monumental paintings in Anatolia, Italy and Greece which dated in Byzantine Period. ;
4 To have knowledge about the literature and characteristic of Byzantine art ;
