19 Objective of the Course: To introduce basic concepts and problems of ethics; to gain insight to the history of ethics.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To comprehend the prominent positions in the history of ethics from a comparative perspective by making readings on the history of ethics as a discipline of philosophy.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The student will be able to distinguish ethics by gaining insight into its basic concepts, questions and problems.;
2 The student will be able to analyze ethics by understanding the differences between it and other philosophical disciplines.;
3 The student will be able to evaluate the problems of ethics;
4 The student will be able to apply the methods and concepts of ethics to the contemporary moral problems.;
5 The student will be able to comprehend the relationship between ethics and history of ethics;

Information After the 7-week course, a midterm exam and a final exam at the end of the semester are held . The student must be prepared for the course before the course and actively participate to the course.
