19 Objective of the Course: To be able to provide the students with the competence to apply mathematical knowledge and skills required for their profession into their fields
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The aim of the lesson is to provide the students with the information about how to use mathematics in different areas in business and provide them with skills to solve problems, analytical thinking and decision making in an effective and rational way.

3 To be able to solve problems that include exponential and root statements;
4 To be able to make judgments by relating numbers with other subjects of mathematics;
5 To be able to perform algebraic operations;

7 To be able to use abbreviations in the operations;

5 Equations (First degree equations with one unknown and two unknown)
6 Ratio, proportion and averages (Direct proportion, inverse proportion, arithmetic average, weighted aritmetic average, geometric average and harmonic average)

Measurement and Evaluation Techniques Used in the Course Sample problems. Students are given time to think about sample questions to solve and simple questions are asked orally so that thay can concentrate on the lesson and that they can pay their attention to it.
Information In order to evaluate the success in this course, 1 midtrm exam with 40 points and 1 final exam with 60 points are made. The scores of each student are compared with the criteria for passing a course in accordance with Bursa Uludag University Associate and Undergraduate Regulans.
