19 Objective of the Course: By reading the original sources of Islamic philosophy, the programme aims at preparing students to comprehend the philosophical structure of the Islamic thougth.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The emergence of philosophical thought in Muslim World will be evaluated. The prominent philosophers will be instructed and their works will be read.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To interpret, recognize, express, and analyze arguments in philosophical texts.;
2 To analyze the original subjects of Islamic philosophy.;
3 To compare Muslim philosophers’ methods.;
4 To evaluate the classical literature of Islamic philosophy and the works of philosophers on other disciplines.;
5 To explain development of Islamic philosophy;
6 To analyze how Islamic philosophy takes shape; and formation of its logical, physical, metaphysical and political dimensions.;
7 To compare muslim answers of philosophers about matters of Islamic philosophy.;
8 To analyze a religious subject philosophically.;
9 To evaluate the history, concepts, methodology, representatives of Islamic philosophy and its relationship with ancient civilizations ;
10 To recognize the diversity of human experience across a range of historical periods and cultural perspective.;
