19 Objective of the Course: To improve students’ sensibility towards social problems and get them to offer solutions through a set of activities, for which they prepare projects to assess society’s current problems and involving a project as a volunteer and participating panel,conference or seminar .
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It helps teacher candidates act in accordance with their responsibilities as an individual and a teacher, establish effective communication with students, colleagues, parents and other stakeholders and keep working in order to improve themselves personally and professionally as based on self-evaluation.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Getting students to set free from the limited environment of dormitory, school,canteen. ;
2 Enabling students to achieve integration into society and function of social leadership.;
3 Making students observe society’s different problems closely and think over their reasons and size of these problems and find solutions for them on their own. ;
4 Reminding students of the cultural values as love,respect,tolerance towards others,etc which have been forgotten because of effects of industrialization.;
5 Helping and supporting people in need, like old, blind and homeless.;
6 Gaining competence for teaching profession at the end of the social projects conducted within the context of the course. ;
7 Improving their self-esteem at the end of these activities.;
8 Gaining awareness of taking responsibility with the help of the projects they conduct with their friends in a team spirit.;
9 Having an environmental awareness and responsibility and teaching these to the new generation in their profession.;
