19 Objective of the Course: To help students to gain paint application skills; to recognize the quality, richness and beauty of color; to practice color and value concepts; to experience deformation, transformation, stylization techniques; to develop a sense of artistic, social and philosophical awareness, aesthetic sensibility through applications and practices.

22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 Course Introduction. Materials and resources explained. Examining contemporary artists and works within art criticism context.
2 Fundamentals of Composition- Color and value will be studied through information collection, problem solving, analysis, evaluation, and development processes in design. (Figure) Contemporary Figure painting applications through analysis of spatial relationships.

4 How shapes are constructed, how to apply principles within creative process. Explained through contemporary examples. Shape formings (Deformation, stylization, transformation) applied through material and media knowledge. Results are evaluated.
