19 Objective of the Course: This course covers how to use the guitar in music education, technical features of the instruments, its short history, its place in school music repertoire and its applications. It also aims to create the artistic understanding required by music teaching and to comprehend the necessary working discipline in musical education with musical education.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To know the structure, short history and types of the guitar It sees to comprehend sitting, holding, right basic techniques.;
2 To recognize the sound characteristics of the guitar. To understand the sound and tuning system.;
3 To be able to dominate the fingers (p, i, m, a) on the wires with the right hand arpeggio exercises.;
4 To be able to independent the left hand fingers. Coordination on basic positions.;
5 To be able to recognize guitar music. To be able to perform guitar music according to bass and melody lines.;
6 Being able to play scales, melodies and chords in the first position.;
7 To be able to accompany children, youth and popular songs suitable for educational music To be able to recognize school music works arranged for guitar.;
8 To be able to comprehend chord formations and guitar chord systems.;
9 To understand the usability of the guitar as a school music instrument.;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 General basic technical information about the aim and content of the course with the students, the history of the introduction of the instrument, the handling, sitting and instrument.
2 Right hand tirando (free kick or unsupported kick) exercises
3 Tirando beat and related arpeggio exercises that form the basis of the right hand technique
4 Left hand technique and finger numbers
5 Position I and simple major minor sequences and apoyando technique
6 Chord formation with double voice studies.
7 Guitar music and accompaniment
8 2/4 3/4 4/4 different rhythm patterns
9 Capo usage and simple transposition
10 The different string numbers used on the guitar are unison sounds and tuning.
11 Solo voicing of various school songs with guitar.
12 Guitar accompaniment of youth and popular songs suitable for educational music.
