19 Objective of the Course: Course Objectives, I. and II. Constitutional period to learn the movements of thought, establish the relation between movements of thought and literature, Nationalism (nationalism) to grasp the effects of current our literature, "New Language" movement, see our literature and the contributions of the Turkish language, M. Emin Yurdakul’s poems to grasp the societal,correctly interpret the concept of Ziya Gökalp’s language and literature, examples of poetry is to evaluate current contributors to Nationalism.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 19th Century By the end of 20th century. the early political, social and intellectual life of Westernism discussed Ottomanism, Islamism, Turkism, the reasons for the emergence of streams, objectives, agents, resources, explains the basic ideas.;
2 Westernism, Ottomanism, Islamism and Turkism thought of, and concern about the efficacy and formed themselves comprehend the idea of nation-state searches;
3 After 1911 the national government and nationalistic Turkish literature around the ideas put forward, referenced in the narrative and comprehend text types have evolved around.;
4 4 Social, historical, philosophical and scientific themes, and words expressed in plain language discovers a natural utterance.;
5 Nationalist literature in plain language, syllabic verse, and discovers that formed around the movement of Pan-Turkism.;
