Brief History
Inegol Vocational School Electricity program has started to provide education and training services since 2002 - 2003 academic year.

Qualification Awarded
In this program, when 121 ECTS credit load is completed and program qualifications are provided, the Electrical program Associate Degree is obtained.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
In order to obtain an associate degree in the electrical program, students must successfully complete all of the compulsory and elective courses (equivalent to a total of 121 ECTS) and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

Profile of The Programme
To train technical staff who have the necessary knowledge and skills for the electricity and energy sector, are open to innovations, and have advanced problem solving skills. It also aims to train qualified individuals who are aware of professional ethics, occupational health and safety and environmental awareness.

1. Students can install direct and alternating circuits, measure basic electrical parameters and learn basic electrical principles.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduates of the program have a wide range of work. They can work in various positions in the public and private sectors. In the public sector; They can take part in electrical installation projects or infrastructure works. With KPSS, they can find jobs as technicians in public institutions (public energy organizations, municipalities, etc.). In the private sector; They can work as maintenance-repair technicians or energy management in factories. They can work in electrical installation and project companies, design and implementation of electrical installation projects or electrical installation controls in building inspection companies. Self-employment; They can establish their own businesses related to electrical installation and maintenance works. They can do project drawing and consultancy as licensed. They can work in the renewable energy sector.

Access to Further Studies
Program graduates can transfer to undergraduate programs with the DGS exam conducted by ÖSYM.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Each student must register for the courses at the beginning of the semester and must attend at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the practices in order to take the final exam. Students are subjected to at least 1 midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam (the scores obtained from measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, quiz, etc. can also be evaluated as midterm grades) to the success grade is 40% and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. All exams are evaluated out of 100 points. It is compulsory to get at least 50 points from the final exam. Students who receive one of the letter grades “AA”, “BA”, “BB”, ‘CB’ and “CC” from a course are considered successful in that course. “DC” and “DD” grades are conditionally successful grades. In order for a student to be successful in a course with a “DC” or “DD” grade, the overall weighted grade point average must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

Graduation Requirements
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program (equivalent to 121 ECTS), to obtain a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and to successfully complete the internship practice.

Facilities
There are 2 lecturers in the program. In the program, besides basic electricity and electronics courses, computer-aided project drawings are made and technical trips to electricity generation and distribution units are organized.
