General Description
Uludağ University Faculty of Law was established in 1995 and accepted the first students in 2007-2008 academic year.
The Faculty is subject to the first stage degree system of 240 ECTS credits in the field of Law. When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are met, a Bachelor´s degree in Law is awarded.

Specific Admission Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have received a sufficient score from the University Student Selection Exam.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
In order to receive a bachelor´s degree in law, it is necessary to successfully complete the compulsory and elective courses worth 240 ECTS as specified in the department´s curriculum. In addition to this condition, the general academic grade point average must be at least 2.00.

Profile of The Programme
The faculty curriculum includes both compulsory courses related to the basic areas of Turkish Law and elective courses within and outside the field. The aim of the faculty is to teach the rule of law and positive law based on the principles of the rule of law in its theoretical and practical aspects.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Faculty graduates can practice law and public professions such as judgeship, prosecutorship and notary public.

Access to Further Studies
Our graduates who successfully complete their undergraduate education can pursue master´s and doctoral studies in national graduate programs and international higher education institutions, provided that they receive a passing score from the ALES exam and have sufficient knowledge of a foreign language.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The total ECTS load of compulsory and elective courses in the program is 240. The annual system is applied for compulsory courses. In order for students to graduate, their general weighted grade point average must be 2.00 out of 4.00. Students must take at least one midterm and one final exam for each course. The success grade is 40% for the midterm and 60% for the final exam. All exams are evaluated out of 100 points. In order to be considered successful, the student must receive one of the letter grades AA, BA, BB, CB or CC. In order to be successful from DC and DD grades, the GPA must be at least 2.00/4.00.
