Machinery Painting and Construction
General Description
Department of Machinery and Metal Technologies/ Machine Drawing and Construction program.
Machine program Vocational School of Technical Sciences has been established in 1986. Then depending on the growth of industry and increasing of the demand of qualified personal from the industry, also established in İnegöl, Orhangazi , Mustafa Kemal Paşa ,Yenişehir and Gemlik townships. Machine program in Vocational School of İnegöl has started education in 1996-1997 Academic Year both in primary and secondary program. With the abolition of exam-free transition to vocational schools in 2017, students are not admitted to secondary education. Currently, 50 students are admitted to formal education every year.
n line with the recommendations made by YÖK in 2025, the Mechanical program was transformed into the Machine Drawing and Construction program in order to meet the need for Mechanical Drawing and Construction Technicians in the region.
Starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, 50 students will be admitted to the Mechanical Drawing and Construction program.
This program is subject to the 121 ECTS credits first stage degree system in the field of Machine and Metal Technology in higher education. Upon successfully completion of the qualification requirements of the associate degree program, students are awarded by the title of Mechanical Drawing and ConstructionTechnician.

Candidates who have completed associate degree training can study bachelor’s degree programs (engineer or technical teacher) if they get a desired grade from DGS (vertical transfer exam) and if they are placed by ÖSYM (Student selection and Placement Centre).
11
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Before the start of each semester, students must register for their courses and in order to admit to the final examinations they must be continued for at least 70% of courses and 80% of practical applications. Students are subjected to at least one midterm and final exam. For each course the instructor advises students at the beginning of each semester with regard to the requirements for midterm examinations, papers and other assignments, conditions for admission to final examinations, and the weighting of midterm examinations, assignments and other studies in the calculation of the final course grade. The course instructor assigns a grade of between 0 and 100 for each course taken by a student and this grade is known as the raw score. Students must take at least 50 on 100 for each course. A student who has received any of the AA, BA, BB, CB, CC letter grade is considered as successful in that course. DD and DC are probation passing grades. Students must have a GPA of over 2 to be successful from any course received DD or DC letter grade.
12
Graduation Requirements
To finish the program successfully, complete all the courses available in the program (121 ECTS), get a GPA at least 2.00/4.00 and complete the internship based on industry training.
