Türkçe English Curriculum Key Learning Outcomes
Landscape Design and Cultivation of Ornamental Plants
General Description
1
Brief History
The program began admitting students in the 2006–2007 academic year. Since its establishment, it has evolved in line with sectoral needs and higher education program standards and has operated under various names, including “Landscape,” “Landscape and Ornamental Plants,” and “Landscape and Ornamental Plant Cultivation.” Following the decision made at the Council of Higher Education meeting on 25 December 2019 to simplify associate degree program names based on their content, the program was renamed “Landscape and Ornamental Plant Cultivation” in 2020. The program has continued to admit students under its current name since the 2020–2021 academic year, with an annual student admission quota of 50.
The program adopted the 3+1 education model in the 2026–2027 academic year. Accordingly, the curriculum was revised to include three semesters of theoretical and practical coursework at the institution and one semester of Vocational Training in Enterprises (İME).
