Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Textile Engineering Non-Thesis Master´s Program consists of 30 credits and at least ten elective courses, not less than 60 ECTS, and 60 ECTS from Master´s Project Management I and II, Master´s Project Consulting I and II courses, a total of 120 ECTS. The duration of the non-thesis master´s program is three semesters. Term project can be taken from the beginning of the second semester. The project should be prepared in such a way as to include the effective use of the knowledge acquired by the student in the graduate curriculum and/or to be carried out in the R&D center where he/she works. The student has to register for the project course in the semesters he/she takes the project course and submit a report about the project at the end of each semester. The prepared project application text will be presented orally by the student to a jury consisting of three faculty members, one of whom is a consultant, and as a result of the presentation, the project text/presentation will be evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. For the graduation stage, it is essential that the student has completed the TUBITAK application of the successful project. If the student is found unsuccessful, an additional semester is given to the student to complete the deficiencies, provided that he/she registers at the beginning of the next academic semester.
When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are met, a non-thesis master´s degree is obtained in Textile Engineering.
