Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology
General Description
Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Technology Program; It is one of the leading training programs in our country with the sustainable success achieved in the training practice in the workplace and its infrastructure with up-to-date technology, established with the support of the leading institutions of the sector.
With the intense support of the sector, the technical infrastructure of the program was completed in a short time and training activities started.
To ensure that the graduates are trained in accordance with the quality and philosophy of the manpower expected by the sector in both production and post-service levels by constantly renewing the educational activities of the program according to the needs of the day.
The Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Program is to ensure the training of personnel in line with the needs of the production and after-sales service sectors and to be a leading institution in closing the gap in this direction.
The graduates of the program are awarded a diploma with the title of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Technician.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Technicians take part in almost all levels of the main and sub-industry Hybrid and Electric Vehicles factories in the titles and responsibilities that can be counted as a technician. However, in the production and assembly lines, Hybrid and Electric Vehicles technicians are intense in number and play an active role in production works, they provide communication and contact between engineers, planners and managers and workers, they work as team leaders in quality circles, and as trainers in the on-the-job training of the staff at lower levels. it seems that they take responsibility. Another part of the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles sector that is as important as production is the services and sales points and training centers, which we can call after-sales service units. The responsibility production system undertaken by the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles technicians in these units has increased even more as a result of the transition from mass production to lean production and the implementation of customer-oriented quality and sales principles. In these units, they take responsibilities and tasks in many areas from group leadership, service management, sales group leadership, spare parts, service workshop management to personnel training.

Access to Further Studies
Graduated students can make vertical transfer to the related departments of Engineering Faculties, Technology Faculties and Technical Education Faculties with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
11
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
In order for each student to register for the classes at the beginning of the term and to enter the final exam, at least 70% of the lessons and at least 80% of the practices must be attended. Students are subjected to at least 1 midterm and final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam (the scores obtained from the measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, quiz, etc. as midterm grade can also be taken into consideration) to the success grade is 50%, and the contribution of the final exam is 50%. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There is a requirement to get at least 30 points from the final exam. Students who get AA, BA, BB, CB and CC letter grades from a course are considered successful in that course. DC and DD grades are conditionally successful grades. In order for the student to be successful in a course in which he / she received DC or DD grade, his / her general weighted grade point average must be at least 2.0.
12
Graduation Requirements
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all of the courses available in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS) and to obtain a grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00.
