Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Exam of the courses; It can be done in written, written-oral or applied form. Exam documents are forwarded to the relevant institute within five working days through the head of the department. The principles regarding the determination of course success are as follows: a) In order to take the exam from the courses taken in graduate programs; 70% attendance is required for theoretical courses and 80% for applied courses. Exams are evaluated with points given out of 100. In order to be successful, it is necessary to get at least 70 points out of 100 in master´s programs with thesis. Letter grade and coefficient equivalents of the scores out of 100 are as follows: Letter Grade Coefficient Score AA 4.00 90-100 BA 3.50 85-89 BB 3.00 80-84 CB 2.50 75-79 CC 2.00 70-74 F 0-69 b) Within the framework of the above principles In evaluating the scores out of 100 with letter grades; Students who get AA, BA, BB, CB and CC grades in master´s programs are considered successful in that course. c) In addition to the letter grades above, the following letters can also be used: 1) Note D (Absent); It is given to students who do not fulfill the conditions and requirements of course attendance and / or course practices. The grade average of D is transferred to the calculation of the FF grade. 2) Grade G (Pass); It is given to students who successfully complete non-credit courses and thesis studies. 3) Grade K (Remaining); It is given to students who fail in their thesis with non-credit courses. d) Students who fail the exams of compulsory and elective courses, fail in absenteeism or fulfill the prerequisites of the relevant course, take the relevant course / courses in the first semester they are opened. In case of failure in the elective course, the student can choose a new course instead. d) The exam results, exam documents and protocol of the courses in the graduate programs are sent to the relevant institute through the heads of the department within five working days following the completion of the exams. e) The adjustment of the grades of the courses taken by students who benefit from national or international exchange programs such as Erasmus and Farabi is made by the decision of the head of the department and the decision of the board of directors of the institute. These grades are recorded on the transcript of the student. Course success average (1) The success of the student is determined by the semester academic grade average (YANO) and general academic grade average (GANO) calculated on the coefficients given in the table in article 21 of this Regulation at the end of each semester. YANO is the weighted grade point average of the semester the student is enrolled. GANO is the weighted grade average calculated at the end of the semester by taking into account all the courses in the curriculum of the department in which the student is enrolled, starting from the start of the graduate program. (2) Calculated with YANO and GANO weighted grade averages. The weighted grade point average is calculated by dividing the total credits obtained by multiplying the credits of the courses taken with the weight coefficients equivalent of the letter grades taken from the courses, by the total credits. The weighted grade average is calculated as two digits after the comma. (3) Both YANO and GANO are determined by the participation of the grades (AA) to (FF) taken by the student in the credit courses. (4) All grades received by the student are recorded in the grade book.

6 Professors and 3 Associate Professors are working in the Department of Solid Organ Transplantation of the Faculty of Medicine. There are 5 research laboratories (Immunology, Tissue Typing, Microbiology, Molecular Microbiology and Pathology) and Experimental Animal Application and Research Center where applications and thesis studies related to the courses to be given within the scope of the graduate program can be done.
There are 5 computers in laboratories and 14 computers in polyclinic / clinic areas. All of the existing computers are connected to the intranet network and have internet access.
Online data sources and magazines subscribed by our university can be accessed from all computers, and it is possible to reach this opportunity from outside the campus (from homes or laptops) via vpn service. On the other hand, a library located in the hospital of our faculty is open to the use of all graduate students and provides the opportunity to access printed or computer resources. There is a separate library (Diniz Reading Hall) with a capacity of 196 seats within the Faculty of Medicine, where the number of printed medical books is 2898 and the number of printed medical journals subscribed is 774 (497 national, 187 international). In this library, besides student textbooks, there are books for specialization areas. The books are updated every year in line with the demands of the departments.
