General Description
Geography Master´s Programme is that a postgraduate programme established within the Institute of Social Sciences affiliated to the Rectorate of Bursa Uludağ University.

Specific Admission Requirements
a) To have Bachelor´s Degree in an acceptable fields,
b) To have at least 55 score in ALES-SÖZ,
c) To have a score of 40 and above from YDS, ÜDS, UÜDS.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
To have 60 ECTS credit courses in the Department of Geography and successfully complete all of them,a weighted grade point average of 70 out of 100 and to successfully defend the thesis in front of a jury

Profile of The Programme
This programme has a period of 2 years. The programme includes compulsory and elective courses and a master´s thesis.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Students who successfully complete the programme that can apply for a PhD programme in the Department of Geography

Access to Further Studies
Students can study in postgraduate PhD programmes provided that they get a valid grade from ALES exam and have sufficient level of Foreign Language knowledge.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Evaluation is made according to the Undergraduate Education Regulations.

Graduation Requirements
It is necessary that successfully all courses in the program obtain a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00, and complete the master´s thesis
