Facilities
Educational activities in the Child Development Program at Yenişehir İbrahim Orhan Vocational School are carried out by three academic staff members: one associate professor, one academic staff member holding a doctoral degree, and one academic staff member currently pursuing doctoral studies. In addition to well-equipped classrooms used for theoretical courses, the program includes a Child Development Workshop designed to support students’ practical skills. The Child Development Workshop houses a children’s book and toy library consisting of approximately 150 high-quality picture books. Each book in the collection is paired with a related toy or play material. This distinctive resource enables students to engage in practical activities related to children’s literature, interactive book reading, play, material development, and communication with children. In order to integrate theoretical knowledge with practice, students also participate in practical activities in preschool education settings through cooperation with relevant institutions and organizations. These experiences support the development of students’ professional knowledge and skills in child development and education within real educational environments.
