19 Objective of the Course: Development of Turkish education systems’ history will be grasped and the development of republic period education system will be gained thematically.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Understanding basic terms of Turkish educational history;
2 Grasping the importance of Orkhon inscriptions in history of Turkish education;
3 Understanding the information about beginning and development of formal education with the Islamic period;
4 Being able to teach activities of worldwide known Turkish educators and scholars;
5 Being able to teach developments of education in the time of Seljuk and after them;
6 Grasping the features of education in Ottoman;
7 Understanding the importance of first modern education intuitions;
8 Understanding principals of Tevhid-I tedrisat and Turkish republic;
9 Being able to teach developments of education institutions;
10 Being able to teach development of teacher schools. ;
