19 Objective of the Course: It is aimed that students comprehend the features of academic language and writing, distinguish the types and structure of various academic texts, and do academic text writing practices.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Knows the features of academic language and writing. ;
2 Uses definitions, concepts and terms in academic writings.;
3 Knows the difference between objective and subjective expression.;
4 Distinguish the structure and types of academic texts (articles, reports and scientific abstracts, etc.).;
5 Can write claims and suggestions (verifying a thought, defending or opposing).;
6 Knows the formal features of scientific reports and articles.;
7 Knows the steps of writing a report.;
8 Can create bibliography.;
9 Can write academic titles, summarize and identify keywords.;
10 Knows the ethical principles to be considered in scientific writings and makes academic writing practices.;
