19 Objective of the Course: It aims to help students understand history of church along with its periods and set light to further studies in this subject.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Student will able to evaluate definitions of church and the establishment process of church.;;
2 Student will able to make statements about the church’s role in Jesus Christ period and its place in society.;;
3 Student will able to interpret developments in post-Jesus period by comparing to prior period.;;
4 Student will able to analyze the Constantine period and freedom of religion in Christianity in a critical way.;;
5 Student will able to compare Monofizit churches on the basis of their historical background, distinctive characteristics and profiles of their followers.;;
6 Student will able to evaluate the reasons of the seperation of East-West churches and the process of seperation.;;
7 Student will able to analyze Eastern Orthodox chruch and Russian Orthodox Church considering their similarities and differences.;;
8 Student will able to evaluate the relationship between Reform movevement and Catholic Church.;;
9 Student will able to make evaluations about the rise of Protestanism and Martin Luther.;;
10 Student will able to interpret important points of church history and its influence on today’s church.;;
