Introducing the sculptors, their sculptures and important Hellenistic period monuments

Learning Outcomes:
1
To learn important historical events and chronology of the period;
2
To recognize the portraits of Alexander the Great who is the commander started the Hellenistic Period;
3
To recognize the statues such as Hippokrates, Sophokles, Aischines, Demosthenes, The Philosopher of Delphi, The Philosopher of New York;
4
To recognize the statues such as
Large Herculaneum women, Small Herculaneum Women, Themis from Ramnos, Nikeso from Priene Demeter Temple, Nikokleia from Knidos Demeter sanctuary, Tykhe from Antiocheia;
5
To recognize the male statues such as
Poseidon of Melos, Sleeping Satyr;

To recognize the female statues such as The Girl Statue from Budapest, Baker Dancer, Aphrodite of Doidalses, Conservatori Girl, Antium Girl, Winged Victory of Samothrace;

To recognize the statue group which consist of Dying Gaul, Ludovisi Gaul and his wife from a monument built by Attalos I of Pergamon after his victory over Gauls;
