19 Objective of the Course: Understanding the importance, causes and mechanisms of anemias which are very often in the community and making correct interpretation of laboratory tests used in the differential diagnosis of anemia

1 To know and interpret the parameters of Hematology Laboratory ;
2 To classify and understand the mechansim of anemias ;
3 To choose suitable laboratory tests for differential diagnosis;
4 To interpret laboratory test results for differential diagnosis;
5 To be able to explain changes in structure and function with anemia and understand the importance and relevance of anemias of human life quality and performance;

Measurement and Evaluation Techniques Used in the Course
Information According to the student nummber every week one or two of the students should prepare a case report associated with anemias. The homework should be prepared as an powerpoint prestation contaning maximum 5-6 slides. The questions of the exam can be prepared as fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, and in the form of the classic question.
