19 Objective of the Course: To train nurses who have to have the ability to integrate the basic knowledge and principles received during training with roles and functions relating to child health and disease, and to apply the knowledge to the healthy/patient children and their families in every step of the health care system

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Leads in the organization, implementation, and evaluation of health services for child health.;
2 Knows and fulfills her/his occupational roles and responsibilities in the field of child health nursing;
3 Collects data about ill and healthy children, puts nursing diagnosis, plans and performes nursing care, evaluates results;
4 Approaches to child as a holistic, knows and practices the primary care and family-centered care.;
5 Knows her/his role in the early diagnosis, treatment and care of children's health problems, diseases and disorders.;
6 Knows the characteristics of different age groups of children and children rights;
7 Follows current developments related to child health and disease nursing, makes research and investigation, prepares report.;
8 Uses effective communication techniques and act with a sense of team.;

4 Newborn, neonatal diseases and nursing care
5 Respiratory system diseases and nursing care
6 Children with digestive system diseases and nursing care Liquid - electrolyte balance
7 Immunization program and infectious diseases in childhood
8 Hospitalized child. Children with congenital heart disease and nursing care
9 Neurological problems and nursing care
10 Children with oncological problem and nursing care. Emergencies in children and nursing care
11 Children with musculo skeletal system problems and nursing care
12 Children with urinary system diseases and nursing care
13 Children with endocrine and metabolism system disorder and nursing care
14 Hematologic problems and nursing care
