19 Objective of the Course: To enable students to evaluate history of architecture in terms of historic, cultural and socio-economic framework through having an understanding of social, cultural and economic aspects of world civilizations

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Acquiring essential information regarding basic principles of History of Civilizations and using this knowledge in architectural practice;
2 Recognizing sources about conceptual knowledge regarding History of Civilizations and using this knowledge in place;
3 Recognizing the effects of contemporary developments on civilizations.;
4 Developing the capacity of effective representation/communication of acquired knowledge through visual, verbal and written techniques;
5 Developing criticial thinking capacity regarding the effects of diverse cultures and climates on the development of civilizations;
6 Developing research skills;
7 Developing the capacity of utilization of samples;
