19 Objective of the Course: The objectives of this course are to stimulate awareness of the socio-economic, political and environmental issues that will affect future livestock development and to provide the tools to analyse the issues confronting producers, their advisers, planners and policy makers.

1 Introduction about animal production in Turkey and the World
2 General description of some basic economy related topics
3 General description of economy related topics
4 Policy of economic productivity,
5 Techniques for increase efficiency and cost reduction, the principle of opportunity cost,
6 Marketing and marketing systems
7 Marketing model on production of milk, egg, white and red meat.
8 International trade in animals and animal products, international marketing policies and strategies, problems and solutions in foreign trade.
9 Input and support related to animal production, international relations and Common Agricultural Policy in European Union.
10 Business analysis, inventory, valuation, depreciation, amortization calculation methods.
11 Elements of business costs, capital construction and annual operating results based on analysis
12 Relationship between diseases and economy such as mastitis, leg weakness in broiler on production economy.
13 Factors affecting economy in milk, meat, chicken and egg production.
14 Problems and solitions in animal production in Turkey, livestock organizations, professional and trade organizations in the industry
