19 Objective of the Course: Able to provite basic knowledge about the basic business of banking and insurance enterprises.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Able to explain the basic business concepts;
2 Able to analyze the relationship basic business functions and responsibilities with the business environment.;
3 Able to explain general structure of the banks operating , the number of branche and number of staff in Turkey.;
4 Able to explain organizational requirements , organizational structureand human resource management of banks.;
5 Able to evaluate the ethical principles of customer relationship management in banks and banking.;
6 Able to explain bank mergers,removal of activity permits and takeover issues .;
7 Able to interpert the importance of insurance sector for national economies in Turkey and the world.;
8 Able to explain the number of employees, the terms of the organization organize, premium production of insurance and reinsurance companies.;
9 Able to explain the types of insurance and reinsurance intermediary and the conditions of being intermeditary.;
10 Able to evaluate the ethical principles and customer relations of insurance and reinsurance companies.;
22 Course Content:

1 Basic business information and basic concepts of business-related
2 Relationships and responsibilities with the business environment, the basic functions of enterprises, auxiliary functions and the basic principles.
3 Number of banks and branches operating in Turkey, the number of employees, capital structures, places and their importance within the national economy.
4 Terms of new bank organization, bank organizational structure, organization headquarters and branches.
5 The properties of people who will work with the senior management .
6 The ethical principles of banking,customer relationship management applications, human resources management in banks
7 Causes of bank mergers and acquisitions, and removal of license to operate The turnover to the TMSF.
8 Revision lesson and midterm exam
9 Importance to the economies of countries around the world and places the insurance sector in Turkey, numerical comparisons.
10 Terms and conditions for the organization of insurance and reinsurance companies, capital structure, management, and premium volume, number of employees.
11 The organization of general manager in the insurance companies and outside
12 Insurance and reinsurance intermediaries (agents, brokers) and as a means of intermediaries with the requirements of their positions within the industry.
13 Technical reserves of insurance companies and financial structures.
14 Human resource management of Insurance companies.
