19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to discuss the reasons of urban regeneration and different dimensions – physical-social- economic- legal and organizational dimensions of urban regeneration
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To understand the necessity of comprehensive, multi dimensional, inter-disciplinar thought and sustanaible design in urban regeneration;
2 To understand the role of human behaviour and cultural differences in urban regeneration;
3 To conceive the differences and similarities in urbanization and urban regeneration projects in Western and Turkish cities;
4 To understand the organizational role and legal responsibilities of architect, ethical and professional judgements in urban regeneration process ;
5 To gain the ability of making a team work and to learn from the successfull urban regeneration projects;
6 To gain the ability of writing, speaking, critical thinking and to learn to make a research about urban regeneration;
