19	Objective of the Course:	The purpose of the elective art printmaking workshop VI, which is a supporting course to main art studio courses is awareness of the arts and methods, the power of imagination, invention and composition, along with the ability to establish their future and professionel lives of our students to teach their students and put into practice the techniques of printmaking.
20	Contribution of the Course to Professional Development

Learning Outcomes:

1	To explain all the technical and artistic terms of the art of printmaking;
2	To compare the differences and common aspects between the printmaking images and painting images.;
3	To explain the history and development of the silk screen printing.;
4	To make detailed description of screen printing.;
5	Using the tools and equipment of screeen printing.;
6	Using the screen printing studio apparatus.;
7	Practicing silk-printing technique.;
8	To make applications of silk screen-printing technique.;

22	Course Content:

Week	Theoretical	Practical
1	Information about the artworks that made durung the semester. Describes the principles of printmaking. Screen printing techniques, tools and supplies will introduced.	Providing the tools and supplies for studio and printing. Studio will prepared for printing.
2	Giving theoretical knowledge about screen printing. The examples will examined. Different film (mold) preparation methods will explained.	According to the technique of print, to begin the work of sketching.
3	Criticism of the sketches will make. Film preparation methods will explained.	The film sketches will prepared.
4	To explain how to transfer the films in to the screenprinting moilds.	Printing panel will arranged and predetermined number of applications will completed.
5	Color printing technique will explained. For color printing, film making will shown with the examples.	Sketches for color printing will drawn. Drawings will make ready for printing.
6	The sketches will be examined.	Starting to printing applications
7	The studies evaluated and compared with sketches.	Printing process will completed.
8	Copleted studies will discussed in class in technical and plasticity. The aesthetic values of original painting and printmaking painting will discuss	To create sketches from magazines, newspapers to make variety of photographic color printing.
9	To Show photographic film transfer technique in to the print molds.	Completed films will transfer into the printing molds by using photographic methods.
