19 Objective of the Course: To be able to comprehend the importance of mother-child health / first aid, to know the common diseases and first aid practices in pre-school children,

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Know and fulfill the professional role and responsibilities of mother - child health / first aid,;
2 Assess students' need for first aid with the worsening of existing illnesses or accidents;
3 The teacher knows and can apply first aid initiatives,;
4 Explain the variables that affect maternal and child health;
5 Assess the status of maternal health in our country.;
6 It plays an educational role in the protection of children's health.;

1 Introduction of course sources and course content
2 Definition of maternal and child health, goals and objectives
3 First aid practices in children, Foreign body swallowing etc. The first thing a teacher should do in situations
4 Prevention from accident
5 Burns, injuries and fractures - first aid in dislocations
6 Insect stings, first aid in poisonings
7 The situation of mother / women's health in our country and in the world
8 Problems of women according to their lifespan
9 Development of pregnancy, child development in mother's womb, The effects of diseases and accidents that can be spent during pregnancy on the child's development
10 The situation of child health in our country and in the world,
11 Physical development (height, weight) of children 0-6 years, growth, development and follow-up
12 Diseases seen in 0-6 year old children (respiratory diseases, diarrhea and parasitic infections)
13 Rash diseases, immunization and vaccinations
14 Children's Rights, Prevention of Child Neglect and Abuse
