19 Objective of the Course: This course give the opportunity to learners to gain the understanding of general historical art and its basics. They will learn about the basics of change of historical duration of art. Beginning from the first first civilization to Baroque period, the resources of production period of art, social, political, philosophical causes will be evaluated and learners will gain the self evaluation of these periods by exercise and comparisons.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Resolves Art as social, philosiphical and political Beginning from prehistorical period to gothic period ;
2 Compares formal properties of different artworks considering examples of them ;
3 Expresses its duration of art by considering the formal properties of art itself;
4 Associates information of History of Art with its own work.;
5 Expresses with its own centences by analising development, changing duration of art;
6 Evaluates Art as a whole on philosophical,social and political basis;
7 Establishes the connection between history of art and the other branches of Art.;

Information Development and emergence of civilizations on the axis of anatolia, Egypt and mesopotamian and interactions between them, their beliefs ,mits and arts are expressed.and from this, West Art History is introduced.
