19 Objective of the Course: To provide scientific background for student to evaluate the relation between religion and psychology, studies about psychology of religion and Islamic psychology and the basic methods which is used in that studies critically.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Student; evaluates the relationship between psychology and religion.;
2 Analyses impacts of psychological factors on religious life. ;
3 Critically evaluates opinions of prominant psychologists about religion.;
4 Realises various tendencies and basic doctrines in psycholohy of religion.;
5 Comments on place of psychology of religion and it’s importance.;
6 Evaluates studies about Islamic psychology systematically.;
7 Debates positive and negative features of assessment and evaluation instruments which is used in psychology of religion.;
8 Compares assessment and evaluation instruments that is used psychology of religion in terms of aspect, extent, reliableness etc.;
9 Criticizes religiousity scales which is developed in Turkey in different angels.;
10 Contributes for developing new scales which will be used in psychology of religion.;
