21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To have knowledge concerning the classification of microorganisms;
2 To acquire with basic information about the basic structural characteristics, feeding and growth conditions, the genetic structures of bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi;
3 To apply easier to understand the structural properties and identification of microorganisms that are required for laboratory applications, including basic process;
4 To comprehend the information will form the basis of clinical microbiology and infectious disease lectures;

3 Classification of bacteria Examination of bacteria stained; combined paints; Gram and AFS
4 Cell structure of bacteria Sports, capsules and flagellar structure bacteria investigation
5 Cell wall of bacteria Medium and cultivation techniques
6 Bacterial metabolism, reproductive characteristics Colony morphology of bacteria
7 Genetic properties of bacteria Virus, bacteria, fungi and parasites comparative analysis

9 Parasitic diseases: transmission and diagnosis
