19 Objective of the Course: The purpose of this course is to examine social, economic, cultural and political dimensions of processes in the history of Turkish democracy, constitutions adopted since the beginning of the era of modern political system, political parties, democratic and undemocratic changes of government and society.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To obtain information on the Turkish Constitutional History;
2 To comprehend the accepted constitutions rely on which model of democracy;
3 To gain the ability of analyzing history of Turkish Democracy objectively;
4 To be able to perform original researches on history of Turkish Democracy;
5 To evaluate the founding constitution of new state in the context of democracy;
6 To analyze constitutions of the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey comparatively;
7 To evaluate relations between political parties within a historical process;
8 To have information on the ethical values of the Science of History;
