19 Objective of the Course: To provide an introduction to the theoretical concepts and literature of piano in the early post tonal era (before 1945).

1 To be able to analyze the early post-tonal piano music before 1945.;
2 To develop analytical skills necessary to distinguish different theories of the early post-tonal piano music before 1945.;
3 To develop fluency in the technical vocabulary of the post-tonal piano music before 1945.;
4 To be able to recognize different styles of the post-tonal piano music before 1945.;
5 To be able to read contemporary piano scores effectively.;
6 To recognize masterworks and composers of the early post tonal era of the piano music.;
