19 Objective of the Course: Teaching the importance and advantages of grassland, pasture and forage crops as a source of roughage and concentrate for animal feeding.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To comprehend the features of grassland and pasture;
2 To be able to maket he classification of feeds;
3 Learning of plant diversity in crop production by region;
4 Learning the methods of processing of forage plants;
5 To compare the features of pastures and grassland;
6 Learning of feed additives;
7 To understand the steps of making silage;
8 To comprehend the storage conditions of feed;
9 To know forage crops used for animal feedings;
10 To comprehend the features of heavy feeds;

1 Identification and classification of feeds Laboratory practice.
2 Features of grassland and pasture and nutritional worth. Display the differences between grassland and pasture with samples.
3 Fodder, green fodder,legumes and grains. Displaying feeds
4 Features and effects of clover, sainfoin and vetch species on diet. Displaying feeds
5 Features of millet forages, grain forages, corn and effects on diet. Displaying feeds
6 Nutritional properties of root and tuber feeds Displaying feeds
7 Features of straw husk and hulls and effects on diet. Displaying feeds
