19 Objective of the Course: The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge on the development process of Turkey's political life an to analyze economy policies of Turkey.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To understand the historical continuity of political life in Turkey.;
2 To have information on the search for modernization in Turkish politics.;
3 To be able to analyze the political changes in Turkey's political life.;
4 To have information on Turkey's political culture.;
5 To have information on Turkish politics from the point of view of center-periphery relationship.;
6 To be able to interpret the developments preparing the emergence of the Turkish modern state.;
7 To gain knowledge on the main political parties in the political life of Turkey.;
8 To understand the relationship between democracy and political actors in Turkey.;
