19 Objective of the Course: The objective of the course is to unfold the elements which constitute a philosophical problem and to show how the philosophical approach distinguishes itself from other activites such as science, art and religion which also give some kind of knowledge.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To give a based answer to the question “What is philosophy?”;
2 To grasp what a philosophical problem is.;
3 To understand philosophers relationship with the world. ;
4 To understand the basic problems of philosophy;
5 To see how philosophy distinguishes itself from art, science and religion.;
6 To have the ability to analyze the solutions which are given to the philosophical problems.;

Week Theoretical Practical
1 To search an answer to the question “What is philosophy?” and in this context to analyze the concept “philosopher”.
2 To analyze philosopher’s look to the universe and to explain how a philosophical problem arises
3 To show the distinctive element of philosophical look
4 To show how the philosophical approach distinguishes itself from science, art and religion
5 To explain the basic concepts of philosophy of religion
6 To analyze the arguments regarding the existence of god.
7 To analyze the arguments regarding the non-existence of god.
8 To explain the basic concepts of philosophy of morality
9 To explain the basic concepts of philosophy of morality
10 To explain the basic concepts of philosophy of science
11 Analyzing the solutions to the problem of induction
12 To explain the basic concepts of philosophy of art
13 To investigate the kind of knowledge which is provided by art.
