19 Objective of the Course: To teach basic knowledges on common nutritional diseases of poultry.

22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 Digestive track of chicken: Histo-morphologic differences in digestive track which are caused by nutritional diseases
2 Nutritional problems which are caused by unbalanced energy and nutrient value (continues): Problems which are caused by water, energy, protein and lipid balance
3 Nutritional problems which are caused by unbalanced energy and nutrient value: Vitamin and mineral problems
4 Nutritional problems which are cause by feed stuff: Anti nutritional factors
5 Nutritional problems which are cause by feed stuff (continues): Mycotoxicosis
6 Nutritional problems that effects egg quality: Nutritional problems that effects inside and outside quality of egg.
7 Fatty live syndrome: Etiology, diagnosis and precaution
8 Gout and Cannibalism: Etiology, diagnosis and precaution.
9 Sudden death syndrome, Acidosis and Alkalosis: Etiology, diagnosis and precaution
10 Wet litter syndrome and runting-stunding syndrome: Etiology, diagnosis and precaution
11 Perosis and pododermatitis: Etiology, diagnosis and precaution.
12 Tibial Dyscondroplasi and other leg-food defects in broilers: Etiology, diagnosis and precaution
13 Heat Stress: Nutrition of broilers and layers in heat stress.
14 Nutritional problems which are mostly seen in turkey and quails: Diseases which can be seen in deficiency of vitamin and minerals, food defects and breast defects in turkeys.
