19 Objective of the Course: To know tasawwuf literature and analyse its role and effects on the Islamic thought. And also evaluating contemporary sufi studies in the modern world.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To comprehend the role of classical sufi books in Islamic thought.;
2 To analyse the effects of sufi texts on the constitution sufi thought.;
3 To know notional substantiality of sufi culture.;
4 To evaluate contribution of sufi books in Islamic culture. ;
5 To compare between sufi words and mystical words that are used in the other religions.;
6 To know sufi literature in the west.;
7 To study the state of sufi sources in the philosophical disciplines.;
8 To analyse the effects of sufi books on the modern studies.;
9 To comprehend the role of sufi literature on the structure of Islamic sciences.;
10 To analyse how the sufi knowledge is linked to philosophical thought.;

1 Sources of sufi literature.
2 Sufi classics written in Arabic.
3 Forming of sufi words.
4 The sufi book: ar-Riaya and basics of sufi doctrine.
5 Luma of Sarrac and Taarruf of Kalabazi
6 Similarities and differences between ar-Risala and Kaşf al-Mahcub as topics.
7 Reflections of philosophical language on sufi literature.
8 İbn al-Arabi books: Futuhat-ı Makkiyya and Fusus al-Hikam.
9 The classical sufi books in Persian.
10 The contribution’s Nasafi, Bakli and Dâye in the sufi literature.
11 The sufi literature in Turkish and its role in the sufi thoguht.
12 The role of sufi sources in Islamic morality in Anatolian
13 Sufi literature in the west.
14 The contribution of modern studies to sufi literature: Sufi dictionaries and periodical journal.
