19 Objective of the Course: Knowledge of the education of cognitively impaired, comprehending the methods, techniques and strategies used in the education of cognitively impaired.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Be able to learn the education of cognitively impaired, comprehending the methods, techniques and strategies used in the education of cognitively impaired. ;
2 Be able to explain the history of intellectual disability ;
3 Be able to use the terms and concepts of intellectual disabilities correctly;
4 Be able to explain the evaluation process for diagnosis of intellectual disability;
5 Be able to categorize the biological and environmental factors that might cause intellectual disabilities;
6 Be able to explain the possible impacts of having a child with intellectual disabilities on families.;
7 Be able to describe the typical characteristics of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Be able to explain the education opportunities that are provided for individuals with intellectual disabilities. ;
