19 | Objective of the Course: | The aim of this course is to introduce the students to ancient Anatolian societies and their culture. Social, economic, political and religious institutions will be examined within an historic context. Special topics will include the origin of the Hittites, migrations to Anatolia, trade routes, and the Hittites-Egypt controversy. |
