19 Objective of the Course: The purpose of this course is to make students gain knowledge, skills, and experiences regarding assessing and teaching social skills.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Assessing social skills, planning a program to teach social skills, social skills teaching methods, evidence-based practices and their use in teaching social skills, evaluating effectiveness of the programs of teaching social skills.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Define social skills.;
2 Explain effective (evidence based) social skills teaching methods;
3 Assess social skills;
4 Develop appropriate social skills intervention programs about story based interventions.;
5 Develops appropriate social skills intervention programs about video modelling interventions.;
6 Evaluates the effectiveness of the social skills intervention program that s/he has developed.;
