19 Objective of the Course: Teaching the basic content of measurement information
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development This course will provide the candidates who will become forest technicians with practicality in measuring forest boundaries, as well as the ability to determine the routes of main and secondary roads built in the forest.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To learn technical concepts that constitute the basis of measurement knowledge;
2 Learn errors during measurement;
3 To determine the horizontal and vertical boundaries;
4 Gaining the ability to use maps;
5 To be able to evaluate the vertical and horizontal measurements in the field and to be able to adapt them to the drawing technique;
6 Gain the ability to use theodolite and Nivo devices;
7 Gain the ability to use GPS;
22 Course Content:

1 Shape and size of the earth, the effect of sphericity Sample question solution about the subject
2 Units of measurement and measurement Converting angle units to each other. Use of functional calculator
3 Measuring errors Correction methods for incorrect measurements
4 Simple horizontal measurements Presentation of theodolite. Use of GPS
5 Theodolite and Angle measurement District angle and polygon angle measurement with theodolite
6 Indoor polygon measurement Application of indoor polygon measurement in the field
7 Repeating courses and midterm exam Repeating courses and midterm exam
8 Evaluation of indoor polygon measurements Calculation of horizontal coordinates with closed polygon measurements
9 Connected polygon measurement Application of bound polygon measurement in the field
10 Evaluation of connected polygon dimensions Calculation of horizontal coordinates with connected polygon measurements
