19 Objective of the Course: In this lesson,student is trained on using desktop publishment software,design,application,preparation before printing and time-bount publishment.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The graphic publication course provides students with experience in design, implementation, and prepress preparation and periodicals. Understands the design phase and post-design process.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Formation publishment graphic,logo and identity;
2 Ability to form grid systems by using preliminary sketches;
3 Providing sufficientcy on desktop publishing (Indesign CS5);
4 Placing pictures and texts correctly on the design;
5 The ability to make layout;
6 Establishing page structure like news,sport and mag;
7 The ability of setting and structuring a model of prepared publishment;
8 The ability of preparing the design fort he print and handing over press;
22 Course Content:

1 Creating time bound graphic identity Preparing a newspaper logo and analysing the placement on the page
2 Analysing and evaluating the examples of casting a page Formating grid systems and page placement
3 Introduction to desktop publishment, interface recognition and the ability of working with tools Recognizing the interface by the applications in the program and the ability to use the tools
4 Learning how to work with texts and visuals on the desktop publishment program Forming a newspaper page,gathering visuals and texts and applying with the program
5 Evaluating formed designs and applying correction Designing page layout in Indesign
6 Getting information about print preparation and control Printing the design using desktop publishing software
7 Mid exam : presenting a newspaper Mid exam : presenting a newspaper
8 Basic factors effecting magazine publishment and identity Forming magazine logo design and identity (grid system) by using desktop publishment program
9 Getting characteristic information about magazine page design and placement of visuals and texts Acquiring habits on placing visuals and texts by using Indesign program
10 Organising changed pages on grid system of the magazine. Acquiring the habit of applying differences on page structure by using Indesign program
